The Taylor Agency is a full service, property casualty insurance agency offering personal and commercial lines products. Since being founded in 1936 the agency is under the 4th generation of Taylor family ownership. For over 50 years Ralph Taylor was owner of the agency in Ilion, NY. Robert Taylor joined the Agency in 1996 after graduating from SUNY Plattsburgh. 2002 saw the Agency move to it's current location which provided much more space for growth. In 2009 the Taylor Agency Agency purchased the Cal Southwick Agency and brought their owner and employee on staff. Robert Taylor succeeded his father Ralph as owner in 2012.
Our objective is to provide our customers the best combination of complete coverages and low premiums to meet their insurance needs. By using a combination of large, national carriers and small, local carriers we can find coverage solutions for nearly everyone. We use routine policy reviews to help keep our customer's coverages in line with changing insurance requirements and their personal needs. .
